In an effort to portray a leaner healthier image to children Terry the Terrier has undergone a huge transformation in a very short space of time, the club website states

Terry has spent the last few weeks in KAL's gyms across Huddersfield and the Valleys, where instructors gave him a fitness assessment and a rigorous training programme, and now has an imperious new look befitting of the Club's 'New Era' under Chairman Dean Hoyle.
